Since 1990
The VirasatStory
From a decades-old heritage to a modern revolution — the making of India's most audacious perfume house.

“I refused to believe that greatness must cost a fortune. So I spent four years proving it doesn't.”
— Ajit Jaiswal, Founder
The Origin — 1990
A legacy of fragrance takes root. Long before Virasat carried a name, the pursuit of scent was a family devotion — a heritage of craftsmanship passed down through decades, waiting for the moment it would find its voice.
The Scholar of Pune
Ajit Jaiswal completed his master's from a reputed college in Pune — sharpening a mind that would one day translate emotion into fragrance. Education met intuition, and a vision began to form.
The Dubai Epiphany
Years spent in the UAE, immersed in the retail and perfume industry of Dubai, revealed the artistry of the world's most opulent scents. Here, surrounded by liquid gold, Ajit understood what luxury truly smelled like.
The Return to India
He came home with a question: why should Indians pay a fortune for greatness? He devoted himself to studying Indian consumer behaviour — the aspirations, the rituals, the desire for elegance without excess.
Four Years of Research
From 2022, four relentless years of research, blending and rejection. Hundreds of accords tested. A singular obsession: to craft fragrances that rival perfumes priced between ₹20,000 and ₹50,000 — and win.
The Legacy, Bottled
Virasat launched — nine fragrances, each unisex, each ₹1499. A bottle that becomes masculine at five sprays, feminine at four. Not a compromise, but a revolution. This is the Legacy of Fragrance.
